Pembroke Pines is located in Southern Broward County, Florida United States.  Pembroke Pines is the second most populous city in  Broward County after Fort Lauderdale according to the census of 2010. Pembroke Pines was officially incorporated on January 16,1960, it's name traced back to Sir Edward Reed, a member of the Britain's parliament for the County of Pembroke in 1874 who purchased and farmed the land which today occupies much of what's near the city of Dania Beach.
